CAT Generator Models We Service

We service the complete range of Caterpillar generator sets including the C1.5 through C175 diesel engine platforms, natural gas G series generators, and legacy 3300, 3400, and 3500 series engines. Our technicians are experienced with CAT generators ranging from small 20 kW standby units to massive 2+ MW prime power installations.

EMCP Control Panel Diagnostics

CAT generators use the Electronic Modular Control Panel (EMCP) system for monitoring and control. We diagnose and repair all EMCP versions including EMCP 2, 3, 4, and 4.4, addressing issues with controller programming, sensor inputs, communication modules, and display panels. We also upgrade older EMCP 2 systems to more capable modern controllers when appropriate.

CAT Alternator Rebuild

CAT generators use SR4, SR4B, and SR5 series alternators. Our Brooklyn facility handles complete CAT alternator rebuilds including stator rewinding, rotor reconditioning, bearing replacement, exciter rebuild, PMG testing, and diode bridge replacement. We restore CAT alternators to original performance specifications with our precision rewinding process.

CAT Diesel Engine Service

Our CAT engine services include complete top and in-frame overhauls, injector testing and replacement, turbocharger rebuild, aftercooler service, governor calibration, and cooling system overhaul. Weather-protective enclosures for CAT generators can sustain damage from corrosion, impacts, and vibration fatigue. We repair enclosure panels, replace door latches and hinges, service ventilation louvers, and repaint enclosures to restore weather protection and appearance.
